We have suspended updates on directory entries as well as new additions while decisions are being made concerning the future form and platform of the database.

We have rewritten all our encoding to ISO Latin-1 which will display most Roman diacritically-marked characters on all platforms. We have also implemented an indexing solution which allows the system to read plain text input for diacritically-marked characters (see search tips), so that one can now search on terms such as Bibliothèque (input Bibliotheque) and find results.
